Low cost Prototyping
For most of inventions, there is no need to build a factory prototype which may cause thousands. I have
built one which cost me $2000 USD and I have a factory in China built it for me.
From this to this
Fortunately, most inventors don't need a factory prototype at initial stage. You can build one with existing
material, with some craft work. I built this windmill prototype using paper and one CD case. Cupholder is
made of plastic tube, wood, paper and other material.
Now at this computer age, we can even build prototype with 3-D computer tools. Like these (real
invention has been removed from design)
With some innovative thinking, you can save a lot of money and build just the prototype you need for
promoting your invention.
